Specterr alternative
Melodious vs Specterr
Specterr makes audio-reactive visualizers and lyric videos from templates. Melodious makes AI-generated music videos with scenes and a singer. They solve different problems; here is which you need.
Plans from $29/month · cancel anytime
Specterr is a music visualizer and lyric video maker: per its site (checked 2026-11-04) you upload a WAV or MP3, pick a template, and the visualizer reacts to the audio, with lyric text styled on a timeline, 4K and 60fps output, and videos up to an hour long for DJ mixes. It does not generate filmed-style scenes or people. Melodious makes AI music videos: an AI director plans a storyboard of scenes against your song, singing shots can be lip-synced, and you get one stitched, synced video, but it puts no lyrics on screen. There is no free tier and plans start at $29 a month. Pick Specterr for a visualizer, a lyric video or a long mix; pick Melodious for a music video with scenes and a singer.
