Common questions
Is Melodious a Capify alternative?
For lyric videos, yes, with a different approach: Capify is a lyric-focused editor over your own backgrounds, while Melodious generates scenes for your song and times the captions to your vocal.
How much does Capify cost?
We could not confirm: the page we checked on 2026-10-09 mentions a free preview and paid plans but shows no prices. Check capify.ai.

Starter is $19/month (750 credits, about 35 seconds of HD video), Artist $97/month (5,200 credits, about 4 minutes) and Label $147/month (8,500 credits, about 7 minutes). The brief and a first 30-second storyboard are free for new accounts. Cancel anytime.
Which has better lyric timing?
Both derive word-level timing from the audio. Melodious also shows you the extracted lyrics to correct before anything renders. We have not benchmarked the two against each other, so test your own song on each free tier.
