The basics

What does Melodious make? A music video of your song. An AI director plans the shots around your music, draws each one as a still, then renders them into a video cut to your beat.

Do I need to film anything? No. Every shot is generated. If you want to be in it, add a photo of yourself and you'll stay the same person from shot to shot.

Do I need editing skills? No. You describe what you picture in plain words; the director handles the shots and the cut.

What music can I use? Your own song. Upload MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG or FLAC, up to 50 MB. Only upload music you have the rights to.

Does it work on my phone? Yes. A bigger screen shows the storyboard best, but you can make a whole video on a phone.

Credits and paying

What does a video cost? A 30 second video at 720p costs 600 credits in all. See How credits work for every length and quality.

What's free? Nothing is charged for your song or the analysis. You pay for keyframes and the render, and the price is shown before either starts.

Do credits expire? No.

What if a generation fails? You aren't charged for it.

I don't like my video. Can it be redone? Yes. Change the shots and redraw keyframes before you render; that's cheap. Each pack also includes regenerations, and if you wouldn't post the video, tell us.

Can I buy before I make an account? Yes. See Buying without an account.

Your video

Who owns the video? Your song is yours, and the video is made for you to release. Pro plans add full commercial rights; see Packs and plans.

Where are my videos kept? In your projects, under your account. Download them any time.

Can I share it without a download? Yes. Every finished video has a share link to a public page anyone can watch, no account needed. Only people you give the link to can find it.

Can I post AI videos to YouTube and TikTok? Yes, within each platform's rules on labelling AI content. See our guide.
