The storyboard and shot cardsBeta
Build turns the concept into a shot list without spending credits. Learn to read the board, open a shot card, and edit, duplicate or delete shots.
Last updated
Press Build on the concept and the director writes your shot list. Every shot becomes a card on the board, in song order, under a timeline of your track. Building uses no credits: cards arrive as text first, and turn into pictures only when you draw their keyframes.
Read the board
- The timeline has a tick at every shot boundary.
- Each card is one shot: what happens, and its status: Planned, Generating, Ready, Just changed or Failed.
- The footer counts drawn keyframes, planned shots and your spare credits.
- Brief and Board at the top switch between your brief and this board.
Change a shot
Click a card to open the shot inspector.
| You can | Cost |
|---|---|
| Edit the prompt, shot type (Wide, Close-up and more) and duration, then Save changes | Free |
| Attach a reference photo to this one shot | Free |
| Duplicate it (the copy lands undrawn, straight after it) | Free |
| Delete it (the gap in the timeline closes) | Free |
| Restore an earlier keyframe from its versions | Free |
| Reroll its keyframe | The price on the button |
Edits are saved to the shot, and the next keyframe draws the new prompt. For bigger changes, ask the director in the chat on the left, in plain words.
Shape the board before you draw
No change on this page uses credits until you draw. Get the shot list right first, then spend credits on pictures.
