Sharing Your Video
When your render finishes, a share prompt gives you a public link, one-tap posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and your referral link.
What it is
The moment your final video finishes rendering, Melodious opens a "Your video is ready" prompt with a preview of the video and everything you need to get it in front of people:
- a share link to a public page anyone can watch,
- one-tap posting buttons for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube,
- your referral link, so a friend can join and you both earn bonus credits.
It appears once per finished video, right at the moment the render completes. If you close it, it won't nag you again when you revisit the project.
The share link
The Share link box holds a public URL of the form melodious.ai/v/…. Hit Copy and send it anywhere.
Anyone who opens it sees a clean page with your video, playable immediately — no Melodious account and no login needed. The link isn't listed anywhere public; only people you give it to will find it.
Posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
Under Post it to, one tap on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube opens that platform's upload page in a new tab, ready for you to post.
The platforms want the video file itself, so grab the right cut first: every render gives you three downloads in the workspace — 16:9 (the master), 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and 1:1 for the Instagram feed. Download the aspect that fits where you're posting, then upload it on the page that opened.
Bring a friend, both get credits
The bottom of the prompt shows your personal referral link (melodious.ai/r/…). When someone signs up through it and makes their first video, you both get bonus credits.
Your referral link isn't only in the share prompt — it's always available on the Billing page.
Common questions
I closed the prompt before copying my link. Did I lose anything? No. Your video stays in the project workspace, where you can download all three aspect ratios whenever you like. The share prompt itself only shows at the moment a render finishes.
Does sharing cost credits? No. The share link, the posting buttons and the referral link are all free to use.
Who can see my shared video? Anyone with the link. The page is public but unlisted: it isn't indexed on the site or shown in any gallery, so it only reaches the people you send it to.
The prompt didn't appear when my render finished. Why? It should now — an earlier bug meant the prompt could silently skip if your connection blipped during the render. That was fixed in v0.12.0, so it fires on every completed render, exactly once.
